Structures presented in this book include the use of common regular and irregular verbs in the past tense, expressions used with do, make and get, two-word verbs, intransitive verbs with prepositions of direction, would like, that with clauses, say and tell, time expressions with take, and regular and irregular forms of adjectives and adverbs.The vocabulary includes commonly used technical terms, household chores, daily activities, common two-work verbs, common shopping terms, food containers, measurements, general medical terms, parts of the body, symptoms and illnesses, common adjectives and adverbs, and wording found on safety signs.
