Synopsis

Mainstream Fiction, Contemporary Women, Love Story, Paranormal, Supernatural, Metaphysical.DESIGNS OF DESTINY is a love story beyond the earthly realm. It speaks of Life-Purpose, Interwoven Destinies, Transcendence, Life after Death, Life after Life, and Karma.Thadd Whittaker came into this world with a contract to fulfill. On the day he was born, his “soul buddy” whispered it in his ear: “In the distant future, you are to rescue a woman. When that time comes, buckle your seat belt. She’s going to rock your world.” Anthropology professor, Cheryl Jamison, is no medieval damsel in distress. It’s practically the 21st century, and she’s a brilliant scientist. All she wants is to live a life without complications. When it's time for Thadd’s soul-project to be activated, 21 years later, he has, of course, forgotten all about it. He isn’t aware of any “contract.” He doesn’t know he has a “soul buddy” who’s directing his actions…his emotions, even. A senior Anthropology major, Thadd just wants to graduate and join the Air Force so he can fly fighter jets. When he first spies Cheryl in a crowded hallway on campus, he’s stunned. Overcome. Bowled over. His life will never be the same. Nor will hers. Complexities, misinterpretations, and confusion reign.
