NR Kamper is the architect of the Fortresses in the Hereafter series. Working with his wife Katerina as editor, he has built upon an existing novel he wrote many years ago, and moulded it into the series you are reading today. He works in London and generally fills his spare time either working on his model railway, playing video games or writing the next instalment of the series. He lives in Essex with his wife and beloved pet cat.
