People talk all the time about finding a life purpose. Most never really feel they have a handle on what that is. It seems to be an imaginary state where, every day, you know who you are, what you are about, what to do, and feel excitedly engaged in your purpose.

Perhaps, like you, I never knew what my purpose was. I had some vague ideas about what I was “supposed to do,” but no big purpose that created any fire in the belly.

We all want to matter and have a big impact. We all want to have abundance. We deeply desire to love and be loved. We seek experiences we remember and treasure. We want deep and meaningful relationships. With all this wanting, most don’t really take the yearning to ground and create the life they desire.

What’s missing is the creation element. We avoid the work and assume things will “happen to us” so the path will be clear. It doesn’t work that way. We must choose, work, evaluate, and choose again.

We live in a world where most would rather watch and wish. This book is written to help you choose to turn your thoughts into things and your inner yearning into your wonderful truth.

When my transformation journey started in August 2007, I would not have predicted writing this book. In fact, I had no intention of writing any book. I had barely begun a journey of sobriety after ending a $3000/week drug habit in a single day. At the same time, I walked away from a 30-year career while at the top of my game because it was killing me.

I am writing this book for three reasons. First, beginning with the miracles of August 2007, my life changed in powerful and joyful ways. I could never have imagined the radical shifts that would bring me to who I am and how much I love life every single minute. Even at the conclusion of Down from the Gallows in 2018, I could not have foreseen the awesome opportunity and the amazing trajectory life has taken since that time.

The radical shifts came as I learned and applied truths that came to me along a difficult, dangerous, enlightening, and unexpected journey. Creation is not random but follows the application of the principles that govern the process.

Second, I must share the pure gold I discovered as I was guided and helped along this path. The truths I share are not original. I did not invent truth. Truth is eternal and stands outside my ability to create or destroy. I now understood and can take full advantage of truths that govern creation, love, service, joy and other eternal principles.

This book is not about me, though I am in the stories. The stories are to illustrate points I learned and want to share with you. However, if you read this book just as “Kellan’s Story,” nothing amazing will happen in your life.

The point of my sharing is to give all this to you, and then ask, plead, and even demand you ask yourself the questions they generate.

Third, I am a coach. I'm committed to helping as many people as I can delve into the mysteries of their own motivations and being-ness. Understanding our ability to create every aspect of our lives is infinitely powerful. Indeed, we create our lives moment to moment, either intentionally or ignorantly.

More than anything, I love helping people succeed, and succeed beyond their wildest dreams. Our limited ability to dream and believe is the core barrier to living a life of purpose, prosperity and joy, every day we breathe.
