Synopsis

As fate would have it, she meets the author of Dream of the Red Chamber, one of China's four greatest classical novels, and unlocks some of the book's most enigmatic mysteries, one of which helps her return to the present timeline.

Halfway on her homeward journey, Victoria stops by the banks of the Danube to witness an invincible general, who also happens to be an early founder of Canada, win a decisive victory in one of the greatest battles in European history. À propos de l'auteur

Born and raised in Hong Kong by parents from mainland China, the author was educated at La Salle College, an English Catholic school, where he once aspired to become a priest. The author graduated from McMaster University with a degree in Engineering and became a Canadian citizen. By a twist of fate, he entered broadcasting and established Canada's first national Chinese-language television station. He later worked in China for two decades in the broadcast and telecommunications technologies industry, witnessing the country's meteoric rise.
