How to be a GREAT Church Usher, is designed as a 4-week course which can be run by Church Ministers, Head of Ushers, Training Officer or anyone who has experience in leading groups. It's underpinned by biblical principles including a piece on conflict and what the expectations are for an usher's character.

The format contains ready-made Teaching Plans, Objectives and Guidelines, and an Evaluation Form. There are student handouts including diagrams, exercises, and an example usher role description to prepare anyone new to ushering, or to refresh those who might be a little jaded. All handouts in the book can be photocopied.

This is an easy to use, essential workbook for any Christian denomination to get to grips with excellent stewardship and hospitality for churches

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Madge Obaseki is a seasoned minister and leader of just under 3 decades. Her passion is for the body of Christ to work together more effectively so that God's Kingdom can be expanded.

As well as being an author, she's a professional trainer with HR background. She's also the co-director of Grow The Church Now an organisation which 'raises the hands' of Ministry and Church Leaders to make their assemblies more effective and efficient.
