À propos de l'auteur

Médecin, Jean-Michel Cohen a exercé à l'hôpital Bichat à Paris avant de s'installer en libéral. Il a été consultant pour les laboratoires Braun-Bruneau et a développé le principe de solutés hyperprotéinés dans les cas graves de surpoids. En 2005, il a créé une unité de troubles alimentaires à l'Institut Rothschild. Il est également l'inventeur du "curseur nutritionnel", outil de lisibilité pour l'étiquetage nutritionnel développé avec des groupes industriels alimentaires. Intervenant dans de nombreux médias, participant à de multiples émissions qui allient sérieux et approche grand public des questions de nutrition, Jean-Michel Cohen est l'auteur de plusieurs best-sellers publiés aux Éditions Flammarion : Savoir manger, Au bonheur de maigrir, Objectif minceur,... ainsi qu'une fiction remarquée, Le Roman des régimes, en 2007. Fidèle à son précepte " Mincir en mangeant, c'est possible ", il lance en 2010 chez Flammarion une collection de recettes gourmandes dédiées à la santé.Il a publié en 2017 Bouddha bol paru chez Flammarion.
