Synopsis

An investigative journey through the centuries, revealing the secret history of France and its historical implications

The dissolution of the Order of the Temple and the persecution of the Knights Templar are still fresh in people's minds. Why did King Philip the Fair and Pope Clement V set out to destroy them? What secrets did the Knights Templar hold? How did the Knights Templar escape persecution over the centuries while keeping their incredible secret?

Like The Da Vinci Code, which revealed the existence of the Order of the Priory of Sion and left an indelible mark on the world, Jean-Patrick Pourtal takes you on a truly investigative journey from the 14th century to the present day. The author develops his hypotheses on the historical implications of the Knights Templar, mixing royal dynasty and hidden messages. He returns to mythical sites such as Arginy, Gisors and Rennes-Le-Château, and meets the characters who were instrumental in bringing about the so-called Templar resurgence.

Jean-Patrick Pourtal was born on December 27, 1960. From the age of thirteen, he was fascinated by history, and more specifically by mysteries in history. His favorite subject was the Order of the Temple, which led him, over time, to the famous Rennes-Le-Château affair. Author and lecturer, since 2021 he has been a regular columnist on the BTLV TV channel, the No. 1 medium for mysteries and the unexplained.
