Christopher Columbus was one of the first modem Project Managers, but probably not the best organised. Churchill once said (at least it is reported) : "In fact, Christopher Columbus did not know where he was, nor where he was going, how long his voyage would last, or how much it would cost, and moreover, somebody else was paying the bill".

° Where you are.
° Where you want to go.
° How long it will take.
° How much it will cost.
