La série photographique Hinterland est un projet au long cours explorant lesdifférentes réalités d'un territoire. Ces images montrent des lieux marginaux, deszones de transition morcelées, des structures abandonnées ; des espaces entreproximité et distance, présence et absence, naturel et artificiel. Elles livrent aussiun potentiel fictionnel : un territoire situé au-delà du visible ou du connu, de cetétrange arrière-pays où la vie commence et se termine. Hinterland libère l'échodu monde dans ses failles, tels, en creux, une mémoire silencieuse de soi, unarrière-pays intérieur. Si la schizoïdie est l'incapacité de se rendre compte de sapropre solitude, Hinterland en serait le reflet ; dans et hors du monde.

The Hinterland photographic series is a long-term project exploring the different realities of a territory. These images show marginal places, fragmented transition zones, abandoned structures; spaces between proximity and distance, presence and absence, natural and artificial. They also have a fictional potential: a territory beyond the visible or known, this strange hinterland where life begins and ends. Hinterland frees the echo of the world in its faults, such, hollow, a silent memory of oneself, an interior hinterland. If schizoidism is the inability to realize one's own loneliness, Hinterland would be a reflection of it; in and out of the world.

De fotografische reeks Hinterland is een project voor de lange termijn dat de verschillende realiteiten van een gebied onderzoekt. Deze afbeeldingen tonen marginale plaatsen van gefragmenteerde overgangszones, verlaten structuren; ruimten tussen nabijheid en afstand, aanwezigheid en afwezigheid, natuurlijk en kunstmatig. Ze hebben ook een fictief potentieel : een gebied buiten het zichtbare of bekende, dit vreemde achterland waar het leven begint en eindigt. Het achterland bevrijdt de echo van de wereld in zijn fouten, zoals hol, een stille herinnering aan zichzelf, een binnenland achterland. Als schizoidisme het onvermogen is om de eigen eenzaamheid te realiseren, zou het Hintererland er een weerspiegeling van zijn; in en uit de wereld.
