At the same time, "mission" is a term that has found new currency in contemporary times. Many organizations will proudly display a mission statement that tells you what they are all about.

Kenneth R. Ross, a minister of the Church of Scotland, is a theological educator working mainly in Africa from a base in Malawi. He has been an adviser to the World Council of Churches Commission on World Mission and Evangelism since 2012 and co-moderated the Harvesting Group at the 2018 Arusha World Mission Conference.
