Gripping read.

OMG! I have just finished this most gripping read; and WOW! Is it only me, or do these books just keep getting better and better?
One of the many things that I like about the DI Darling series is that they are in no way repetitious. Each book focuses on a different type of crime, with usually more than one case on the go at a time to keep Ted and his team on their toes.
I cannot recommend this series highly enough; but, a warning, they are totally addictive.

Gripping and very redolent of the times we are living in.

This is the best of the series so far in my opinion. The main characters already well established, the writing fluid and assured. The series of events shocking and very dark. For once I suspected very early on what the conclusion might be, but that I was correct makes it more enjoyable for me and drives me on to the denouement, and my self-congratulations (it doesn't happen often). Well done L M Krier on a very enjoyable 6th book. I can't see how you can possibly not go on for ever, as this is fast becoming an institution. Tom Hollander and Aidan Turner for the TV series methinks, with Emelia Fox as The Ice Queen?

A cracking read.

I was really looking forward to the latest volume of this highly readable series. I wasn't disappointed, a cracking read indeed. The team are tasked with multi stranded investigations whilst looking out for and supporting each other.I confess to worrying about DI Darling and his partner Trev as the author weaves her spell,draws us in , makes us care and rewards our concern. No spoilers from me but a recommendation to read the books in this series , you won't be disappointed. Looking forward to the next book.

L M Krier is a pen name of former journalist (court reporter) and freelance copywriter, Lesley Tither, who writes travel memoirs under the name Tottie Limejuice. Lesley also worked as a case tracker for the Crown Prosecution Service.
