This book represents a comprehensive effort to understand discrimination, racialization, racism, Islamophobia, anti-racist activism, and the inclusion and exclusion of minorities in Nordic countries. Peter Hervik is Associate Professor of Migration Studies at Aalborg University, Denmark. Hervik has conducted ethnographic fieldwork among the Yucatec Maya of Mexico, researched the emergence of neo-racism and populism in Denmark, and studied women's everyday lives in post-revolutionary Egypt.
