Synopsis
Ce livre est destiné à tous ceux qui essaient d'apprendre les bases de la programmation informatique. Les chapitres guident le lecteur à travers les différentes étapes nécessaires à l'écriture d'un programme, en introduisant les constructions MATLABr® dans le processus. MATLABr® est utilisé pour enseigner la programmation car il dispose d'un environnement de programmation simple. Il a une faible surcharge initiale qui permet au programmeur débutant de commencer la programmation immédiatement et permet aux utilisateurs de déboguer facilement leurs programmes. Ceci est particulièrement utile pour les personnes qui ont un « blocage mental » sur les ordinateurs. Bien que MATLABr® soit un langage de haut niveau et un environnement interactif qui permet à l'utilisateur d'effectuer des tâches intensives en calcul plus rapidement qu'avec les langages de programmation traditionnels tels que C, C ++ et Fortran, l'auteur montre qu'il peut également être utilisé comme outil d'apprentissage de programmation pour les débutants. Il y a un certain nombre d'exercices à la fin de chaque chapitre qui devraient aider les utilisateurs à se familiariser avec la langue.
