Synopsis

The book is aimed at first-year undergraduate students studying introductory physics, and would also be useful for physics teachers in their instruction, particularly the exercises at the end of each chapter.

Dr. Wan Muhamad Saridan Wan Hassan has previously served as an associate professor and head of the Department of Physics at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor Bahru, Malaysia. He earned a Bachelor's Degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, a Master of Science in physics from the University of California, Riverside, and a PhD from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. His areas of expertise are radiation physics and medical imaging. He retired from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2020.
