This book compiles the research papers presented at the VI International Conference on Smart Technologies and Systems (CI3 2025), held on September 18 and 19, 2025, at the Oro Verde Hotel in Cuenca, Ecuador. The conference was organized by the Research, Innovation, and Technology Transfer Network (RIT2), comprised of Ecuador's most prominent university institutes, including American College, Argos, Bolivariano, Central Técnico, Cordillera, Del Azuay, Espíritu Santo, Humane, ISMAC, ITCA, Oriente, Policía Nacional, Rumiñahui, San Isidro, Sucre, Sudamericano and Vida Nueva. Additionally, the event was sponsored by the Ecuadorian Corporation for the Development of Research and Academia (CEDIA), Indoamérica University, GDEON, the Visual Communication Laboratory of the State University of Campinas (Brazil), Ana G. Méndez University (Puerto Rico), the Research Group on Innovation and Digital Education of the Salamanca University (Spain), the Research Group on Electronic Design of the Zaragoza University (Spain) and FAVIT (Spain).
The main objective of CI3 2025 was to create a space for dissemination and collaboration, where academia, the productive sector, and government could share ideas, experiences, and the results of their projects and research.
