À propos de l'auteur
Eyal Weizman (né en 1970 à Haifa) est un intellectuel et architecte israélien. Il est cofondateur et directeur du projet Forensic Architecture et enseigne les cultures spatiales et visuelles à Goldsmiths, Université de Londres, où il dirige le Centre for Research Architecture. Forensic Architecture, actif notamment dans les procès pour crimes de guerre, développe des pratiques d'investigation qui utilisent des techniques et des technologies architecturales pour enquêter sur les cas de violence d'État. Eyal Weizman est l'auteur de nombreux livres, dont À travers les murs. L'architecture de la nouvelle guerre urbaine (La Fabrique, 2008) et La vérité en ruines. Manifeste pour une architecture forensique (Zones, 2021). Weizman est également membre fondateur du collectif Decolonizing Architecture Art Residency (DAAR) à Bethléem (Palestine), du Comité consultatif scientifique de la Cour Pénale Internationale et du Centre for Investigative Journalism.
Ines Weizman est la fondatrice et directrice du Centre for Documentary Architecture (CDA), un collectif de recherche interdisciplinaire composé d'historiens de l'architecture, de cinéastes et de technologues numériques. Depuis 2022, elle est également professeur de théorie et de conception architecturales à l'Académie des beaux-arts, à l'Institut d'art et d'architecture de Vienne.
