I Melt, Therefore I Am! Frantiček Klossner is a pioneer of performance and media art in Switzerland. Transcending boundaries, he combines the means of expression of visual and performing arts. Klossner sheds his skin like a snake in order to constantly reinvent himself. This also enables visualising the stages of his evolution as a person and as an artist.

In this major monograph, Frantiček Klossner for the first time presents his multimedia oeuvre in its entirety. This body of work, consisting of performances, video art, medical imaging, drawings, and silhouettes, is contextualised from various perspectives through contributions by numerous international authors. Surveys of Klossner's previous exhibitions and his works in public collections, as well as a complete catalogue of his video art, make this volume a valuable resource and reference for public and private collectors alike.
