À propos de l'auteur

Expert en trail running, Doug Mayer est auteur, journaliste et fondateur de la société Run the Alps. Il vit à Chamonix. Le Dernier des Géants est sa première bande dessinée et son cinquième ouvrage chez Helvetiq après Courir les montagnes suisses (2018), Passion Trail (2021), Le trail devenu légende (2023) et Courir les montagnes Chamonix - Mont Blanc (2024).
