Die Monografie gibt erstmals einen Überblick über das Werk der in Indien geborenen und in Österreich lebenden Künstlerin, die bei Nasreen Mohamedi an der Faculty of Fine Arts der University of Baroda studierte.
Das Buch nimmt den Leser auf einen faszinierenden Parcours mit - von Rini Tandons frühen Arbeiten, die schon ihre Affinität zum Skulpturalen zeigen, über ihre postminimalistisch-geometrischen Skulpturen bis hin zu ihren Interventionen in den Architektur- und Landschaftsraum. In Auseinandersetzung mit der digitalen Moderne sind schließlich naturwissenschaftlich anmutende Versuchsanordnungen und Videos entstanden.
