A.S. Bhalla is a Former Fellow of Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, UK. His earlier relevant publications include Poverty and Inequality among Chinese Minorities, Poverty and Exclusion in a Global World, and Uneven Development in the Third World: A Study of China and India.
