Synopsis
L'industrie automobile est l'une des plus grandes industries les plus influentes et à forte intensité de main-d'œuvre au monde, qui joue un rôle important dans l'économie d'un pays (Chung et al., 2001), avec des structures de travail au sein de l'industrie découlant de la division du travail au XXe siècle (Freiboth et al., 1997). C'est également l'une des plus grandes industries en Inde comme dans de nombreux autres pays. En 2010, l'Inde abrite une voiture dynamique de plus de 40 millions de véhicules. Plus de 3,7 millions de véhicules automobiles ont été produits en Inde en 2010 (une augmentation de 33,9 %), faisant de notre pays le deuxième (après la Chine) parmi les marchés automobiles à la croissance la plus rapide au monde (Gulati, 2010). Ainsi, il joue un rôle majeur dans la croissance de l'économie en Inde. L'industrie représente 22 % du produit intérieur brut (PIB) manufacturier du pays. Il comprend des voitures particulières, des deux roues, des trois roues et des véhicules utilitaires et est actuellement le septième producteur d'automobiles au monde.
