Synopsis

Optimization of response parameters for any process and product is important to reduce cost and increase quality of work. This book help to optimize machinability parameters in drilling of Aluminium alloy kingpin bush. This report revealed that combination of optimal machinability parameters which find out through RSM technique. RSM is one of the Design of Experimental (DOE) techniques which is more promising analytical and statistical tool which provides quadratic mathematical model for response parameters. Experiments are done on CNC lathe machine using HSS twist drill bit on HE30 Aluminium Alloy and for measurement of surface roughness values, Mitutoyo surface roughness tester is employed. SEM is done for understand and analyse surface texture of optimal desirable solution.
