The presented book discusses the issues of theoretical and instrumental practice of neoliberalism, in fact theoretical-conceptual basis of current globalization, a globally dominant, however socially, economically, financially, politically or ethically controversial conception, resisted worldwide. The work also analyzes the prospects of neoliberal development in Georgia. All of this has been provided on the base of critical conceptualization of authoritative and worldwide famous and local scientific literature, evidences, important reports and documentations on international, Georgian politics, current global and local political processes, as well as through scrutinizing researches conducted by the author. In the monograph for the first time is investigated neoliberal essence, ideological basis and pragmatic political discourse of in fact “austere” reforms having been implemented in Georgia over the last decade. Although the book is first of all intended for university students and pedagogues locally and internationally, it should be useful for professionals and other readers interested in Political Science, International Relations, and Social Sciences at large.

Khatuna Chapichadze is a Ph.D. in Social Sciences, Political Scientist. She has been a professor at different universities in Georgia, Czech Republic, Poland, is an Adjunct Faculty Member at SDSU (USA) and an Associate Professor at GTU (Georgia), author of numerous publications and part of various local and international projects and groups.
