Synopsis

Research work on direct seeded rice is lacking in Konkan region. Therefore, keeping these facts in view, the present studies were planned to investigate the idea about rice cultivation for the area. The findings of these studies will result in increasing production in terms of economic yield proper distribution of farm labour and irrigation water and bio nitrogen status in soil, which will ultimately improve the living standards of the farmers of the area. Biographie de l'auteur

Dr. H. M. Patil (B.19th July 1966) completed BSc Agri. (1988) & MSc Agri. (2003) in Agronomy from MPKV, Rahuri. Completed (2015) Ph.D. from DBSKKV, Dapoli (M.S.). He is having total 29 years’ experience in teaching, research and extension. Presently he is working as Professor & Head, Dept. of Agronomy, College of Agriculture, Dhule, MPKV, Rahuri.
