Synopsis
Les réseaux optiques doivent effectuer toute la commutation et le routage dans le domaine optique pour éviter le goulot d'étranglement imposé par les conversions optoélectroniques. La commutation optique est un élément essentiel dans les réseaux optiques, en particulier l'architecture des commutateurs. L'architecture du commutateur de barre transversale est présentée comme une architecture de commutation proposée basée sur la configuration symétrique d'interféromètre Mach-Zehnder (SMZ) en tant qu'éléments de commutation (SE). Les résultats numériques pour SMZ montrent la commutation complète de la puissance d'entrée vers le port de sortie souhaité.
