Synopsis
The St Albans Psalter is the most valuable manuscript belonging to the Diocese of Hildesheim, and has an importance that extends beyond regional or national boundaries. In November of 2009, the Cathedral Library in Hildesheim, responsible for the preservation of the manuscript, organized an international conference. Experts from Germany, France, Great Britain, Australia, and the US discussed various aspects of their research on the Psalter. The papers given at the conference are documented in this volume.
