This volume is one of a set of concise, well illustrated andauthoritative studies of natural and experimental lesions oflaboratory animals arranged by organ system. Volumes 11 and12 the latest in a set of twelve are devotedto pathologiclesions in nonhuman primates. The first volume includes dataon diseases which affect two or more anatomic systems. Thesecond is arranged by anatomic systems. Precise differentialdiagnostic criteria and terminology are given emphasis.Included are useful data on pathogenesis, etiology, biologicbehavior, frequency in different species under varyinglaboratory conditions. The significance of each lesion isconsidered and comparisons are made with other speciesincluding man.References to the world literature have beenselected to permit access to the critically importantpublications of each subject.
