This book contains the invited papers and a selection of research papers submitted to Computer Graphics International '93, the Eleventh International Conference on Computer Graphics, which was held in Lausanne on June 21-25, 1993. This annual conference has been organized this year by the Computer Graphics Society, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, and the University of Geneva in Lausanne with the co-operation of the British Computer Society, IEEE Computer Society, Eurographics, and IFIP WG5.10. The main theme of the conference was "Communicating with Virtual Worlds". The book presents original research results and applications experience to the various areas of computer graphics. Most of the contributions are related to user interfaces, virtual reality, parallel processing, rendering techniques, image processing and geometric modelling.
