ADBIS 2008 aimed to facilitate knowledge transfer from experienced researchers to young scholars at pre- or post-doctoral levels and foster collaboration between European research communities, particularly from Central and Eastern Europe, and the global research landscape. The conference promotes networking among participants, especially those from Member States and Associated States, encouraging collaboration among researchers active outside their home countries.
