Synopsis
The ADP-ribosylation reaction is known to be fundamental in the regulation of numerous physiological processes. The continuing growth of research activity in this area reflects widespread interest in the enzymology and molecular biology of ADP-ribosylation, as well as in the importance of its clinical applications - notably in cancer, immunology, and nutrition. This book presents current research on ADP-ribosylation in four areas: molecular biology of poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase; cancer, DNA repair and metabolism; enzymology; and mono ADP-ribosylation.
