Synopsis

Romi, a woman in her early fifties, has built a life of routine and security. She is married to Reinhard, a reliable but emotionally distant man. As a widow, she once had to be strong for her daughters and is now also a grandmother. Her family loves her, her life is stable—yet something vital is missing: passion, intimacy, and the feeling of being truly desired. One night, a message appears on her phone. A stranger, calling himself Daniel, writes to her in English: “I saw y a woman in her early fifties our profile and since then, I can’t sleep anymore…”. At first Romi is suspicious. She knows about online scams and fake profiles. But the stranger’s words touch her in a place long neglected. Soon she is drawn into a secret exchange of messages that quickly grow into a virtual love affair. What begins as harmless flirtation becomes dangerously addictive. Daniel’s words ignite Romi’s longing and awaken her sexuality. For the first time in years she feels alive, seen, and wanted. By day she is wife, mother, and grandmother. By night she becomes a woman consumed by desire for a man she has never met.
