Synopsis

This study looks into the achievement of UiTM in becoming a WCU from the perspective of ICT achievements as it is one of the important elements or requirements to achieve the standard. A matrix has also been used to further evaluate the maturity of the ICT infrastructure provided. Questionnaires have also been distributed to the librarians, lecturers and Centre of Integrated Information System personnel for the quantitative approach. The findings from the research conducted have shown that according to the Vice Chancellor, UiTM has achieved 70% to 80% of the targeted objectives in becoming a WCU. Thjis found to be parallel with the findings gathered from the questionnaires where most respondents stated that UiTM has fulfilled 60% to 70% of its WCU objectives.

Biographie de l'auteur

Mas Anom Abdul Rashid is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Office Management and Technology Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia. She has been a faculty there since 1994 and currently is completing her PhD in Office Management where her area of study is e-Government.
