This work shows the development of a dispatching system to supply the telescope of the Stratospheric Observatory For Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA) with spare parts. It introduces the theory of logistics ¿ in particular the spare parts logistics. Current processes become analyzed and weak points are inspected. Design of concept is comprised of: warehouse administration software, warehouse, material planning strategies, part number allocation for the dispatching system as well as the evaluation of variants.

Biographie de l'auteur

started her carrier at the University of Applied Sciences in Wildau. She then went on to study at Linköpings University of Sweden and the Space Station Workshop at the University of Sydney. She soon after got acquainted with the Stratospheric Observatory For Infrared Astronomy where she is currently working as a project engineer.
