The discipline of CALL is relatively new and differs from other fields of study within Applied Linguistics for the basic reason that the rate of change of technology deeply influences theory, practice, and research. The focus in this book is on a qualitative justification of CALL measuring its effectiveness in teaching language items. The research adopts the reflective cycle approach to classrom change based on different elements: ICT- supported lessons in classroom or computer labs, materials and methodolgy.
