Problem of water afflux computation is one of the main concerns for optimal development of river crossing design and construction of hydraulic structures. HEC-RAS model without bridge and with bridge was constructed and water surface profiles were computed using using HEC-RAS model and Lacey?s Regime Theory. The computed water surface profiles were compared with the simulated computer model results and thereafter estimation of the river water afflux and results are presented in this book.This book certainly enhance learning among researcher, scientists, students and helps planning research studies. The authors appreciate the efforts of Barthlemy Chaton and his team in facilitating during book finalization and highly acknowledge publishing of this book by VDM Publishing House Ltd., for technical knowledge sharing internationally.
