Synopsis

The mixed oxides of Zinc and Tin along with Indium make the transparent conducting films. These are suitable for solar cells and optoelectronic devices. The flash evaporation of mixed oxides is a low cost process. The commercially available Indiun Tin Oxide film ITO coated glass is very expensive. WE have found that ZTO and ZIO are good subtitute of ITO. This is a laboratory scale effort and good prospects for its scale up.
