The objective of this book is to modify and improve the Static Head Restraint test bench in order to make it more convenient, safe and efficient too. Also the discussions followed by conclusions are made to make the test bench FMVSS 202A enabled. As a whole, through this project, a big contribution has been made to the Static Head Restraint testing machine by improving the machine in many aspects. Along with the various improvements done, suggestions on the bases of various calculations have been given to implement the new test procedure (FMVSS 202A) on the same test bench. The modifications and changes introduced in this book have proven to be a good, fast and efficient technique. The studies regarding the new test procedure can be taken as the starting point for reference and can serve as a benchmark for future studies.
