Urdu is one of the most frequently spoken languages, in South Asia. As a status of being a National Language of Pakistan requires that research and development of Urdu language and Applications should be conducted at all levels of complexities. A good quality Speech Synthesis System (or Text-to-Speech System) has enormous applications in the fields of learning and education, interactive response systems, telecommunication, linguistics and perceptual research, and as an aid for visually impaired people. This application can be used for the educational purposes like; one can learn how to speak Urdu if he/she is familiar with the Urdu text but does not know how to articulate and pronounce that text.

Muhammad Adnan: He has completed his MIT from PUCIT University of the Punjab, Lahore Pakistan. Muhammad Kamran Malik and Aasim Ali: They are currently working as an Assistant Professor at PUCIT, University of the Punjab, Lahore Pakistan. Their area of interest is Natural Language Processing.
