The book describes a methodology of engineering curriculum design and its main steps such as identification of programme objectives and learning outcomes, credit allocation to programme/module learning outcomes, and assessment of learning outcome achievement in accordance with accreditation standards. The authors address and discuss requirements to learning outcomes of engineering curriculum within Bologna process (the Framework for Qualifications of the European Higher Education Area and the European Qualification Framework) and within national and transnational (the Washington Accord and the EUR-ACE Framework Standards) accreditation criteria for engineering programmes. The examples are given to illustrate methodological recommendations.
