Synopsis
Les directeurs de l'information (CIO) sont les points focaux de la gestion de l'information dans une variété d'organisations mondiales. Un leadership et une gestion efficaces sont primordiales dans l'exécution de la vision globale et du plan stratégique d'une organisation. Sur la base de recherches antérieures, un grand nombre d'études ont été menées sur les styles de leadership des DSI dans le monde de l'entreprise. Toutefois, et non néanmoins, très peu de recherches ont été menées sur les styles de leadership des CIO aux commandements militaires des combattants. Essentiellement, cette étude se concentrera sur une lacune concernant les styles de leadership transformationnels, transactionnels et situationnels des CIO aux commandements des combattants militaires. De plus, cette étude phénoménologique qualitative a été menée dans quatre commandements militaires hautement qualifiés, mondiaux et opérationnels situés sur une base de l'armée de l'air américaine.
