Synopsis
Ce texte présente un compte rendu d'une étude de recherche sur « La jeunesse et la ville » qui vise à déterminer comment la dynamique de l'existence urbaine a un impact sur la vie des jeunes en utilisant la ville de Lagos comme base. L'étude interroge les interrogations entre la jeunesse et la ville du point de vue de l'art, des loisirs et de la créativité. Il porte spécifiquement un regard critique sur l'impact des programmes d'art, de loisirs et de créativité sur le développement des jeunes dans l'environnement urbain de la métropole de Lagos, en tenant compte des opportunités et des programmes qui existent et/ou pourraient être évolués ou établis vers le développement d'une meilleure situation de jeunesse et permettre aux jeunes d'atteindre un meilleur épanouissement. L'enquête porte principalement sur les jeunes scolarisés au niveau secondaire. Au sein de la population étudiée, l'accent est mis sur les élèves des classes du secondaire supérieur, en particulier ceux d'entre eux qui proposent des matières professionnelles et artistiques.
