Synopsis

This book contains an extensive research conducted on the application of education project management cycle technique (EPMCT) on the management of education projects in secondary schools in North Eastern Nigeria. It examined the involvement of secondary schools in the EPMCT stages of identification, preparation, implementation, evaluation and sustainability of projects, to provide, utilise and maintain educational facilities. The literature covered theoretical frameworks base on the concept of education project management. Evaluation models, procedural successive stages and participation of beneficiaries in the application of EPMCT were broadly handled. EPMCT application performance of providing, utilizing and maintaining educational facilities and other empirical studies on education project management were also reviewed.Relevant methodological issues, pertinent findings and major conclusion were reported. Recommendations for improving the application of EPMCT on the management of education projects in secondary schools were offered.

Biographie de l'auteur

Dr Kabiru Mohammed Badau, senior lecturer in the department of science education, Modibbo Adama University of Technology Yola, Nigeria. Classroom teacher, education project manager, director, examination development and administration, university lecturer. He has Ph.D in educational management. He also has many scholarly publications in journals.
