Synopsis
Le programme de soins de santé communautaires est une approche innovante, interdisciplinaire et unique lancée par l'Institut des sciences médicales Datta Meghe, Université réputée de Nagpur, Inde première fois en Inde en 2011 par le département de médecine communautaire de Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Sawangi (M) Wardha. L'objectif principal du programme était d'introduire un approche des soins de santé en la communauté ainsi que le développement de l'esprit d'équipe chez les étudiants nouvellement entrés en médecine et en para-médecine (c'est-à-dire Étudiants en médecine, dentaire et infirmière). Le programme encourage l'empathie et la compréhension; motive les élèves à apprendre; encourage l'élève à gagner en confiance; et leur donne une meilleure connaissance des rôles et responsabilités professionnels et des maladies qu'ils doivent reconnaître et traiter. Ainsi, l'approche CHCP dans la formation des sous-diplômés permet une meilleure compréhension du sujet et des avantages pour la communauté.
