The designed multirate systems can outperform original single-rate systems by hundreds of times in key areas. From the simulation results it can be seen that the improved parameters of multirate systems provide a high data processing throughput in a cost and energy-efficient way, making them an ideal means for numerous engineering applications. Biographie de l'auteur

Igor Astrov was qualified as Engineer-Physicist from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Soviet Union. He received his Ph.D.(Eng.) degree from the Tallinn University of Technology. He is now a senior researcher of the same University, European Union. His research focuses on multirate systems modeling. Dr. Astrov has published 3 monographs.
