Intelligent tutoring systems (ITS) are highly effective e-learning systems for learning but they are used to be developed only by researchers or professionals with knowledge engineering background. Although teachers are supposed to be the best candidates of ITS development, they are typically kept from such development work by themselves due to lack of relevant technical knowledge. This constraint is imposed by the characteristics of the commonly adopted approach to ITS development. Therefore, the goal of this booklet is an attempt to propose an approach to ITS development for teacher alone in order to help dissemination of ITS applications.
