He received the Bachelor's degree, the Master's Degree and the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Control Science and Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China in 2004, 2006 and 2010, respectively. In February 2009, he joined the School of Astronautics, Harbin Institute of Technology, where he has been a Professor since December 2012.
He was a Research Associate at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Hong Kong from December 2007 to March 2008, a Visiting Fellow at the School of Computing and Mathematics, University of Western Sydney from May 2009 to August 2009, and a Visiting Research Scientist at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Virginia from July 2012 to August 2013.
His current research interests include constrained control, time-delay systems, nonlinear control, and control applications in astronautic engineering. In these areas, he has published about 100 papers, over 70 of which are in archival journals and over 30 of which are in IEEE Transactions and the IFAC journal Automatica.
He was selected as the "New Century Excellent Talents in University", the Ministry of Education of China in 2011. He received the "The 5th China Youth Science and Technology Innovation Awards" in 2008 from China Communist Youth League, All-China Youth Federation, and All-China Students Federation, and the "National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award" in 2012 from the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council and the Ministry of Education of P. R. China.
He is a reviewer for American Mathematical Review and is an active reviewer for a number of journals and conferences. He is currently an associate editor on the Conference Editorial Board of the IEEE Control Systems Society.

Buch. Etat : Neu. This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -This book provides a systematic approach to the design of predictor based controllers for (time-varying) linear systems with either (time-varying) input or state delays. Differently from those traditional predictor based controllers, which are infinite-dimensional static feedback laws and may cause difficulties in their practical implementation, this book develops a truncated predictor feedback (TPF) which involves only finite dimensional static state feedback.Features and topics:A novel approach referred to as truncated predictor feedback for the stabilization of (time-varying) time-delay systems in both the continuous-time setting and the discrete-time setting is built systematicallySemi-global and global stabilization problems of linear time-delay systems subject to either magnitude saturation or energy constraints are solved in a systematic mannerBoth stabilization of a single system and consensus of a group of systems (multi-agent systems) are treated in a unified manner by applying the truncated predictor feedback and predictor feedbackThe properties of the solutions to a class of parametric (differential and difference) Lyapunov matrix equations are presented in detailDetailed numerical examples and applications to the spacecraft rendezvous and formation flying problems are provided to demonstrate the usefulness of the presented theoretical resultsThis book can be a useful resource for the researchers, engineers, and graduate students in the fields of control, applied mathematics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and aerospace engineering. 500 pp. Englisch.
