Synopsis
ABOUT THE BOOK: The Physics Department in every institution should enkindle the student's innate human curiosity to understand the world around us. Like Isaac Newton, if you wish to discover the basis of physics and know the science of "why things work", you are on the road to becoming a physicist. Physics forms the basis of most present and future technology. Physics deals with such things as mechanics (force, energy, and motion), sound, heat, light, electricity and atomic structure. The laboratory in Physics can be an existing part of the course. Physics Practicals help students to understand and apply the physical laws and logic to real cases and in that way aid them to think clearly, equipping them with skills to use scientific instruments and techniques. This book gives a holistic approach to Physics practicals. It consists of over 60 experiments, with a well organized introductory note and a sample practical solution.

À propos de l'auteur
Habumugisha Isaac, is a PhD student and has just completed a Master of Science(Physics) from MUST. He is a full time member of the Department of Physics at the Islamic University in Uganda where he coordinates Physics Practical sessions. Both Akoba and Chukondo are great researchers interested in experimental Physics.
