Synopsis

With its focus on infertility, this monograph collates the hitherto literature about the correlation between bacterial infections and male infertility. As such, this project determined the types of male infertility in Iraq, and diagnosed several bacterial infections in seminal fluid specimens. Moreover, this work recorded the microdeletions in AZF loci in primary and secondary infertile men who infected with different bacteria.

Hayfa H Hassani has obtained her Ph.D. in Human Genetic at University of Baghdad in 2003.She Joined the faculty of the University of Baghdad in 1991, was promoted to full professor in 2009. In 2009, she became chair of the Department of Biology, College of Science, University of Baghdad . She is author of many scientific papers in her field.
