All the parents and F1s and F2s were screened in the field during kharif 2003-04In some of the derivatives were screened who are possessing high yield along with resistance against blast under mid hills of North western conditions.

The author is presently working as Subject Matter Specialist(PBG), Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Poonch of Shere Kashmir Agricultural University Jammu (India) since 2007 and also published more than 50 research papers in the repute of International/National Journals. He is also selected in ICRISAT, Hyderabad(India) as Scientist of Chickpea Breeding
